We have a Samsung microwave that is giving a change filter code. The microwave is installed with a cabinet directly above it, so we can't access the screws to remove the plastic shield. Not without taking the microwave out of its location. a pain in the butt. We want to be able to change the filter when needed. and are willing to drill holes through the cabinet frame above it, but will need to know where the screws are located. I hope your people can give us dimensions. Instead of having us pull the microwave out. a big job. Just want to change the filter. I can dill a few holes to reveal the screws, but need samsung guidance. Do you have a chart for getting those screws? ME19R7041FS

Press & hold the 0 (zero) button. It will beep and light (filter) will go away, very shortly.

Can you install a Samsung over the stove microwave without a cabinet on top, or do you have to have the top screws come down from the cabinet to keep it for wiggling/tilting forward, like ours does? Model ME 19R7041FS. We have cabinets on each side, is there any way to secure it from the side, in addition to the underside mount?

You can install the Samsung ME19R7041FS over the stove microwave without a cabinet on top. The top screws coming down from the cabinet are not necessary to keep it from wiggling or tilting forward. However, it is important to securely mount the microwave from the underside. There is no specific method to secure it from the sides, as the standard installation involves mounting it solely from the underside.

The Samsung ME19R7041FS microwave troubleshooting manual suggests the following solutions if the microwave is not heating: 1. Make sure the plug is properly connected to a grounded outlet. 2. If the wall outlet is controlled by a wall switch, make sure the wall switch is turned on. 3. Remove the plug from the outlet, wait ten seconds, and plug it in again. 4. Reset the circuit breaker or replace any blown fuses. 5. Plug a different appliance into the outlet to check if it is working. If the other appliance doesn't work, call a qualified electrician to repair the wall outlet. 6. Plug the microwave into a different outlet if possible. 7. Make sure the door is closed securely. 8. Check if any packaging material or anything else is stuck in the door seal. 9. Check if the door is damaged. 10. Touch Cancel twice and enter all the cooking instructions again. 11. If there was a power outage, the time indicator may display "88:88". Remove the plug from the outlet, wait ten seconds, and plug it in again. Reset the clock and any cooking instructions. 12. Reset the circuit breaker or replace any blown fuses. 13. Make sure the oven has its own 15 to 20 amp circuit line. Operating another appliance on the same circuit can cause a voltage drop. If necessary, move the oven to its own circuit. 14. Remove any metallic utensils, cookware, or metal ties. If using foil, use only narrow strips and allow at least one inch between the foil and the interior oven walls. 15. Clean the turntable, roller ring, and oven floor. Make sure the turntable and roller ring are positioned correctly. 16. If the microwave is causing TV or radio interference, move it away from the affected appliances. 17. Set the vent mode to high. The vent fan will only operate in low-speed mode while the microwave is working. 18. The microwave may make noise during operation, which is normal. If you hear an abnormal sound continuously, please contact Samsung Call Center.
