I am needing to add a beginning and ending title/credits but I cannot find any of the things you list in here as to how to go about it. I have Lightworks Win32 14.0.0 can I create title and credits pages with this version?

I do not have that option when I do the above instructions. It starts on my first clip. How do I add a gap I guess? Can I add txt to a gap? Also my txt and my color correction are connected, how do I make them separate so I can edit them individually?
You can either create black video and insert it or mark and park the sequence and drag it along the timeline or insert a temp clip of a suitable length, then remove it. The last two will create a gap in the timeline.
For the fade in and out, use opacity, engage keyframe by clicking on the clock icon on the left of the opacity slider and set the keyframes at the beginning, fade in finish and the end of the keyframe slide at the bottom of the FX window.
Fist of all, thank you for all your help! I am new to this (duh) but I am a fast learner However, it seems that every time I think I have it, I don't. My new hurdle, I've got the black gap for the beginning and placed the title in that black space. BUT I also did a little color correction to the first clip prior to the title creation and now it seams the color correction AND the title are one. I cannot seem to separate them as I need the title to end once the clip starts but the color correction needs to stay with the clip. When I trim down the title, the color correction goes with it. sigh. help. thank you.

Give us a screen grab of your routing at the point at which your title is colourgraded. You have a problem with it.
So here is the screen shot of what I did. I actually deleted the connected ones and then added them separately. I'm trying to add some smoothness between each clip. I added a couple dissolves but I don't want them to cross into the other clip. I would like a clean fade into the each clip. Did I do it right using the dissolve?
"create black video" ? How is this done? I cannot find the "create video black" that used to be in the menu. Thanks for helping out.
